We've gotten married on the 23rd Dec 2007!Please wait for the videographers and photographers to come back with the photos and I'll post the videos and pictures~
I want to thank the "brothers": Ivan, Anthony, Ian, MingZhong, Edwin, Kelvin, Wenxing and Cixian. Also, I want to thank my mum and dad, my mother and father-in-law, my sis and brother-in-law, Ivan, my new-brother-in-law, Kangwen, and the "sisters", Yunbing, Yaling, Alina, Yitian, Angie, Zhaojia, Peishan and Rabi'ah for making this event possible. It is really a great day. It won't have went on smoothly without all your help.
After the event, Wenhui and me went to have a night stay at Swissotel the Stamford.
For the 24th and 25th, we spent the day rushing about trying to get things so she can live comfortably for the next 3 months in my parents house. That's how we spent x'mas. ><
Today, we're going to do the same thing too. ^__^
Will post some picures when we get back.

Ok... the past month has been really busy. Here's what we're doing:
1. Door gifts: The door gifts are nearly complete... but we've run out of the golden ribbon to tie the top of the boxes! Even worse, when I went to Art Friend they were all out of the gold ribbon! I may have to buy a different colour ribbon for the rest of the boxes... about 60-70 left without ribbons. I've uploaded a pic of one of the boxes in the gallery.
2. Clips: We've thought of using decorated clips to identify our guests. YB is helping me out in that department :)
3. Hair and makeup: Went for makeup trial yesterday. It went well, but now I need to look for hair accessories. I don't know anything about hair accessories! o.o
4. Ring pillow: Uploaded a pic of the ring pillow in the gallery. It was quite cheap. :)
5. Cartoon video: I'm working on the cartoon video. I really need to complete it soon :( I'm really afraid I can't finish it in time! |

It's been a pretty productive time since the previous update :) We've met with Fenglei's sister, who gave us a clearer idea of what we need to do on the actual day. We've also designed the invitations and made a couple of prototypes. They look pretty good! Guess it's about time I opened up the gallery page of this website so I can post photos :) |

Today, I proposed to Wenhui. ^__^
As usual, our unusual tendencies led to an unusual proposal.
The proposal was quick and swift
due to the sudden gust of wind and drizzle.
We had it at East Coast Park, because I think it won't change for
the next 50 years; at least the coastline won't.
With that brilliant idea, we set out to the beach after
a sumptuous dinner at Marine Parade's Jack's Place,
where we had onion soup, black pepper steak, red wine, lemon tea
and banana split; a very filling dinner.
When we reached the beach after crossing the underpass,
we were greeted by a few raindrops.
Nonetheless, I pulled out the ring,
went on my knees and proposed to Wenhui.
She pulled me up before she said "yes",
because we were in a rush I did not notice that.
It was only after i slipped on the ring into her finger and
took a few photos of her with the ring that she reminded me. -__-"
With that done, we went back happily with an umbrella in hand.
Afterwards, we had a cup of hazelnut steam milk at Pacific Coffee,
which is scheduled to close in august. 0__o
The plan to propose at East Coast Park is good after all,
but most importantly is we enjoyed it! |

More stuff to report this time :)
Day has been changed to 23 December as the Arts House is not available on the 15th. Food is gonna be catered by Restaurant 1827, a Thai fusion restaurant. Fenglei and I have gone to try the food there... super high-class. I regret not being able to pig out myself on that day. :P
Went to the tailor and bought the wedding gown and tea dress already. He's a really nice guy and he'll help with the flowers, corsages, car and everything. Thanks to YB and her mum for recommending him :)
Gonna confirm with the Arts House tomorrow, and settle Fenglei's tuxedo. My guest list has also been settled... hope everyone will be able to come :) |

Well, you probably know by now how busy I've been, so I haven't done much at all. Today ZJ and YT finally kicked me back into action... and we've decided on The Arts House (the old Parliament House) as a location for the wedding. The day has been decided: 15th December, the day Fenglei and I met online.
Next up: the wedding gown! |

Recently, Fenglei and I went for a walk around the Raffles Place area. (well, it was a recce for a field trip... but never mind.)
I've always loved Cavenagh Bridge. It's so full of cool stuff, like the sign that says "THE USE OF THIS BRIDGE IS PROHIBITED TO ANY VEHICLE OF WHICH THE LADEN WEIGHT EXCEEDS 3cwt. AND TO ALL CATTLE AND HORSES. - BY ORDER CHIEF POLICE OFFICER." and the Kucinta sculpture and the boys jumping into river sculpture and the Botero and Dali sculptures at UOB Plaza not far off.
Anyway... this is my long-winded way of saying that Fullerton Hotel might be the closest to a perfect location that we can get. Fenglei's happy that the view is suitably stupendous breathtaking pretty (there's not much to see in Singapore). The parking is ok, the food should be good, it's indoors. I just want to know the price now. The number of guests might depend on that. =P
Stay tuned! |

First post!
Well, we are on our way, to having the wedding by December. So far we have decided on the design of the tuxedo and the gown, although we haven't decided where to get it made. We have also decided that the bride's makeup will be done by her group of close colleagues! We've already had our first makeup session in March, and we plan to have more rehearsals before the wedding. We haven't decided on a venue but so far The Jewel Box on Mount Faber seems like the most likely candidate. We also have a most likely candidate for photographer, although we have yet to actually meet up with them.
Anyway, more updates on this site as we have them! |
